The distillation

At Pouteou distillation traditionally takes place  in the first two weeks of December. Every day our alambic (the continuous still) gives out heat without interruption day and night to produce a white eau-de-vie", 53°C alcohol degree from the two grape varieties  Baco and Folle Blanche.

Distillation is a very nice period of conviviality to discover the different steps of making Bas-Armagnac.
